The charitable foundation Caritas Ternopil was founded in 1994. They began their charitable activity with a soup kitchen and a place from which they distributed clothing, footwear and groceries to the disadvantaged. Now Caritas Ternopil focuses on providing social services, offering consultations and providing information to people who have found themselves in crisis situations.
Caritas Ternopil operates:
• The socio-medical centre Home Care
• The informational-consulting centre Home Care
• The Mobile Work with Youth project
• The Holy Family children’s home
• A soup kitchen
• The Happy Motherhood school
• An art studio for children in crisis
