Caritas Organizes a Picnic for Children and Adolescents

Caritas Ivano-Frankivs’k volunteers organized a picnic for young people with special needs and children of labour migrants. In order to add variety to their clients’ daily routine, to give them a chance to escape the urban bustle and relax in natural surroundings Caritas’ social workers planned the picnic on the city’s lake.

Caritas Ivano-Frankivs’k UGCC started way back in 1992 by opening a soup kitchen and humanitarian aid distribution point. Today they are a large charitable organization which dedicates its charitable work to victims of human trafficking, the elderly, the terminally ill, disabled young people, youngsters who have found themselves in difficult situations or suffering from catastrophes, children of labour migrants and other disadvantaged members of their community.
