Recently participants of the Psycho-Social Support for Children of Labour Migrants project run by Caritas Volyn’ visited a local history museum. Nearly 20 children viewed the ethnographic and historic exposition. Nadya Voytyuk, the museum’s Director guided the tour through the 6 room museum.
The guided tour of the museum started with the archaeological exhibit which showed the culture of the Pry-Buh lands. Children saw excavated artefacts, listened to stories about their ancient culture and about how their ancestors lived. The objects caused great curiosity because it was the first time the children saw such old objects.
The exhibit “Protect in Captivity” in the OUN-UPA area made a great impression on the young visitors. There they saw uniforms and tools that were used in Stalinist camps.
