On January 3, 2013 in Donetsk Caritas Ukraine launched project of social flat for girls and young women that don’t have place of dwelling because of complicated life circumstances. This Caritas project is a pilot one and will last three years. It is financed by philanthropists from Australia (Australian Catholic Mission).
Similar projects in Kyiv and Donetsk were launched simultaneously by Foundation for Development of Ukraine and HealthRight International in Ukraine that to the same extent focus their attention on problems of neglected and homeless children and youth in Ukraine. It can’t be argued that nowadays problem of absence of possibilities to secure right to housing, guaranteed by Constitution of Ukraine, is incredibly hot-button issue for young person from boarding school or socially vulnerable family.
