Social barcamp “Common action” was organized in Odessa at the end of November in the framework of VI Social Days of UGCC. Nearly 30 speakers from Odessa, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv and Amsterdam (Netherlands) were negotiating on social work, collaboration of civic movements and business-structures, impact and interaction with authorities and the state. The event took place in Christian Open University of Economics and Humanitarian Sciences (HGEU).
Fr. Vasyl Kolodchyn, Director of Caritas Odessa, organizer of VI Social week of UGCC, says: «Nowadays Social barcamp „Common action“ becomes a significant platform for discussion on hot-button society issues. It is not a common meeting or some dozens of enthusiasts; it is an impulse for more profound understanding of modern social and society challenges, possible ways to sort them out and integration of resources».
