Ukrainian Officials and Philanthropists learn what Caring for the Elderly can teach People

From 13-17 December a delegation of officials and staff members from community organization that provide social services to the public from Kyiv and Lviv visited the Netherlands. They went to the Netherlands to learn how to care for the elderly from their foreign colleagues.

The organizers of the meeting that brought the Ukrainian delegation to the Netherlands were SOFT Tulip, Lelie Zorg Group, and the Vineyard Council – a network of geriatric state services.

Anatoliy Kozak, General Secretary of Caritas Ukraine explains: “Despite my having visited most European countries, this trip truly surprised me and made me think. The Netherlands really do have a lot to teach us!
