The Future of Good Work is in Your Hands launched in Ivano-Frankivs’k

12.11.12, Ivano-Frankivs’k
Caritas in Greek means love. Love is what we strive to ignite in the hearts of our neighbours. Our projects respond to current problems. On 1 November Caritas Ivano-Frankivs’k launched The Future of Good Work is in Your Hands—a call for the public to support the work being done with disabled young people. “One drop of water can’t be called rain, but if there are hundreds then it’s a downpour. We are planning a busy and productive November, our goal is to make every city and urban resident of Ivan-Frankivs’k aware of this event and to directly support Caritas by supporting it in some way,” stated social worker Iryna Karazub.

Caritas’s social workers and volunteers in Ivano-Frankivs’k will spend the month telling local inhabitants about what young people with functional disabilities need from those around them. Advertisements will appear in newspapers and on television the Internet and radio; items made by Caritas clients will be on display and for sale at exhibit-bazaars and flyers and booklets will be distributed.
