Polish Volunteers Visit the Disabled in L’viv

For the past 6 years the L’viv social centre for the disabled has hosed Polish volunteers from the school club Anio?y II LO (video link in Polish).

This volunteer club works with various schools in Poland and beyond. Members of the volunteer club visit Ukraine every year to visit orphanages, the Orlyat Burial Ground (burial ground for polish soldiers in the Lychakiv Cemetery in L’viv) and Caritas L’viv UGCC’s workshop for the disabled.

The L’viv centre for recreation and social rehabilitation for the disabled opened in 2001. Currently 30 young people with mental disabilities utilize the centre.
