Recently workers of Caritas Lviv have visited 55 clients and brought some presents for them. It seems that this is a part of everyday work on care of isolated clients that found themselves in crisis life circumstances. However, special food packages that were prepared for each client can be considered as peculiarity.
People that were provided with food packages are clients of project “Home care program for elderly people in Ukraine” («Home care»). Mainly these are seniors, people with disabilities, socially-unprotected poverty-stricken families. According to employees of local Caritas, impecunious individuals become project clients through recommendations of territorial centers or family doctors, also by means of addressing in person or by request of relatives, neighbors.
