From June 23 to 25, Caritas Internationalis held the international conference An Integral Approach to Health in the Caritas Confederation at Castel Gandolfo near Rome.

Based on our work with millions of people, we see what isn’t working in the systems of social protection, healthcare, and education — and we propose solutions.
What we do
Caritas Ukraine plays a key role in humanitarian advocacy and systemic reforms in Ukraine. We collaborate with national and international partners to strengthen social services, protect human rights, and promote locally led humanitarian response.
Caritas Ukraine is a co-founder of the Alliance of Ukrainian CSOs and works in humanitarian diplomacy and policy dialogue, engaging in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) and cooperating with Caritas Europa, Caritas Internationalis, UN agencies, and European institutions.

Impact
Caritas Ukraine advocated for a model where public funding supports services for people, not institutions. As a result, the principle of “funds follow the individual” became the foundation of pilot projects launched by the Ministry of Social Policy.
