On 5 November an open photo exhibit entitled “Human Dignity—Our Vision” which is part of the 5th Annual Social Days of the UGCC Human Dignity and Civil Society was opened at the Cultural Centre at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.” The camera lenses created an exhibit of people of different ages; they recorded real moments of people’s lives, without concealing their problems and difficulties.
The exhibit contains photographs submitted from different regions of Ukraine. The exhibit was organized by the Fairness and Peace Commission of the UGCC, the UGCC Commission for Christian Unity, the Kyiv Catholic Students Association OBNOVA, and the charitable foundation Caritas Kyiv.
The exhibit hopes to use photography to evoke compassion in people for their community and the Church, to promote the revitalization of communities and to try to understand the most valuable feature of Christianity, human dignity, through the lens of a camera.
Over 50 photographs will be displayed. The exhibit will be open for the general public.
Location – Cultural Centre at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy,” (Kyiv, Illins’ka Street 9).
