Caritas Kyiv held dinner for 80 children and youth in need

On the eve of Epiphany Caritas in Kyiv traditionally organized dinner for people in need. Among them are street children and youth, youngsters from crisis, poverty-stricken and large families, disabled young individuals, and children left without parental care. More than 80 people came for the dinner. Compared to precedent years this number is much bigger.

The celebration started with puppet show for children that was staged by students of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko – Karyi University of theatre, cinema and television. Afterwards children and youth, clients of Caritas Kyiv, performed the Nativity play.

Fr. Roman Syrotych, Director of Caritas Kyiv, blessed the dinner with joint prayer and greeting words.
